Identify Widget Help

I've searched and searched and can't seem to get a definitive answer.....is it possible in an Identify widget to get all fields to show up without having to type out each field? I want to have all my storm points under one label and my different points layers have different attributes....this fact seems to make the widget error out. I have entered ALL the different attributes from the different layers into the <fields> portion of the code....and nothing works. 2 of my layers have the exact same fields and those work when only adding those to the <fields>.


Sorry this is long, but.....can you have multiple layers (with different fields) under the same <layer> in the identify widget?
