The map service can not be loaded in Flex in arcgis 10.0 in Internet
I developed a Webgis using Arcgis server 10.0 for Flex API. The map service (it includes image) can not be loaded in Flex in arcgis 10.0 in Internet, but it can be loaded succesfully in Intranet. The Flex codes is:
map.addLayer(pix2);
I do not why? Appreciate any help.

Identify Widget version 3.0.1f for FlexViewer 3.0 : Compiler Error 1046.
Hi I am trying to compile Identify widget version 3.0 on flash builder 4.6 . however after adding the identify folder(as down loaded from http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html...728c50461a1a89. i recieved an compiler error:
1046:type was not found or was not a compile -time constant:Popupinfo
What is remedy, how to compile it . i have used the method as defined in the Readme file of the widget.

Identify Widget Problem with ArcGis Online
Hello,
Did anyone get beyond this problem? I'm having this issue with "Invalid URL" message using the widget. Oddly enough the enhanced widget works just fine using the same URL in the widget itself. If you click on the points of my layer that is in the map hosted by Arcgis Online service (without using any widgets) the popups show all the appropriate fields, also. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, simple question i guess but i couldn't find solution:
-Can I change the label for "zoom to" button in popup window? same question for "close" button and buttons for "previous" and "next"? Can't find it in InfoPopup.mxml file.
-I would like to add a button "Add comment" for popup window but only for some specified layers. This button, when clicked should open my widget "AddComment" is it possible?
-How can I change the tooltips for drawing options? I mean, when user clicks "draw point" the tooltip near the mouse cursor is "Click to add a point".
-In the DrawWidget there is a list of Distance Units. I tried to change the name for DropDownList but i failed(honestly i don't know why...):
But it still shows "Kilometers" and "Meters"..!

Best Approach
I am new to FlexViewer Development. Just wondering what the best approach is to displaying a datagrid control as a result of a search. Should I put the datagrid inside of a widget? Is it possible to trigger another widget (from code) from inside of a widget? The serach results will be coming from an external web service.
Sorry if this is something simple, just want to get idea of the best way to do it.

eSearch (3.0)- Disable InfoWindow popups
I am wondering if anyone knows how to disable InfoWindow popups from the initial search results AND fixed data grid. I commented out the mouseOverSearchResult from the eSearchWidget.mxml and that worked for the initial search results but they still appear when I 'mouse over' the results in the fixed data grid.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

eSearch dropdown list -- make the default value from , then ?
Hi all - Is it possible to make a non-spatial table be the first option in the search tool dropdown list? I edited the .xml with the tables info listed first, but to no avail. It still defaulted to the layers first, then the table.
I'm trying to figure out in the .mxml 'Set up Text Search' Area but I'm still not sure how to proceed. Anyone do this before? Thanks, Meg

All,
I am having an issue with the eSearch tool not adding additional text input components for multiple value expressions.
The label is added, but not the text input.
Additional drop down lists appear if using the userlist parameter so I am not sure why the text input is not displaying.
Here is my XML:

Group TOC vs ArcMap Group layers question....
I can do group layers in Arcmap and publish them, but I can't do multi tiered group layers. So should I do one tier in arcmap and do the second in grouptoc (which I haven't really looked into yet) or both tiers in the grouptoc widget?

FV 3 advanced print widget output quality
Hi all,
using the ExportWebMaptask function of the new print widget. Much nicer than the old one, but wondering if there is some way to make the image quality better?
I see the task has options to set the dpi and image size:
But, is there a way to modify the JSON string being sent to the task to overcome the default 96 dpi setting?

ArcGIS Viewer 3.0 for Flex (compiled version) flexviewer-3.0.zip.
2. Then i extract the above and which has one Directory/Folder named "ARCGIS_Flex " then it has further folders named libs, samples, skins and one readme file
3. Then i paste the ARCGIS_Flex folder in the wwwroot directory: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ArcGIS_Flex
4. Then i opened the IE and write the address in address bar
http://localhost/ArcGIS_Flex/
and pressed Enter but the page shown to me was empty as in video followed the instruction but couldn't work.
Please help me in working in flex

DrawTool temporary layer
Hi :-)
We have just upgraded to the 3.0 version and I am in the process of removing unwanted layers in the LegendWidget in the SFV. One item I cannot seem to remove is the temporary layer (m_tempLayer) in the DrawTool, as it does not have a static name for me to include in the excludeList in the LegendTool (i.e. GraphicsLayer92). The GraphicsLayer that contains the final draw graphics is named "Draw and Measure" so that is not problematic.
The same issue occurs in the SFV when using the SearchWidget, as it uses the DrawTool for drawing the search shape, so it will display the temp layer name in the legend.
As the DrawTool is not part of the source code available I'm unable to change this myself.
From my perspective it seems undesirable to have a temporary layer in the legend, so if the DrawTool could have a static name it will be easy for those of us that wants to remove it from the legend.

After compiling my project and running the flex viewer, all of the widgets work except for one. With one particular widget, I am geitting a WidgetManager.mxml error. I get this error message:

Custom Widget Labels
I need to add a print button to a custom widget/result set. How do I add a button to the header of a widget? I see <labels> in the other widgets but am unsure how to add a custom labels.

Attributed Hyperlinks not working in Flex 3.0
I have a parcel layer that has an attribute with tax record information via a hyperlink. The information is a feature data service and is loaded as an operational layer in Flex viewer 3.0
I configure the popup and save, preview and click on a parcel, the field does not show up in the pop up. I have tried to list the web address in the text attribute and I have coded with html formatting in the attribute table.
What am I missing?

map service delay on open
I have an application on a 10.1 server using sdk 4.6 and api 3.0. Sometimes the map does not show upon inital opening of the application. It is not consistent and I cannot repeat this problem at will.
Any ideas? It display fine in rest services url.
